there is really not too much to tell you about...
monday was ocean day, so it was a day off from work and school for this family..
ray was still sick so we just hung out at home for the most part..
i think this might have been the day leo and casey and i went to the indoor playground (wicked cool, in a hanger at the airport) and watered casey's school garden.

(a cool cloth for a feverish brow and itchy eyes)

he actually ended up back at the dr for almost non stop coughing and kinda wheezy shallow breathing.. new medication and by thursday his fever was normal and he had his appetite back.. friday was his last day of school (1/2 day) before summer vacation and he DID make it in for that.

leo was going to school (daycare) for 1/2 days all week.. even though he had his summer festival performance last week, because this his last year there before starting first grade at public school in april, there is ANOTHER performance next month, put on by the "graduating" students from several of the local daycare centers/schools.. i was fortunate enough to be here when ray had his, but i'll be back in the u.s. the leo preforms...
he will still need to go in some days to practice, but for much of the time i am here, he will be home..

yesterday we went to this river swimming area..
i didn't end up going in because it was pretty rocky and i was a little unsure of the rockbed stability and my footing, etc.. with the wrist still not fully healed, i didn't want to risk a fall.. i sat in the shady area by the waterfall on the right and had panic attacks watching, while a group of guys took turns jumping, farther down, into the pool below... lots of rocks along the edge and i don't think that water was too deep either!

we went for ice cream afterwards.. always yummy 🍦

my friend laurie sent a puzzle for us to work on.. we started it 2 days ago.. 1000 pieces

while most of us were outside enjoying a beverage and listening to music, leo was inside completing the puzzle on his own!  those last 20 or so pesky pieces that are all the same color, i was impressed.. he was so excited when he came out saying "i finished the puzzle!"
